Bakersfield House of Hope

The Bakersfield Memorial Hospital House of Hope is a project which embodies the strength, generosity, and yes, the hopes of our community. The Bakersfield Memorial Hospital Foundation and Castle & Cooke, as well as local businesses, media companies and many generous individuals are joining together to make the Memorial House of Hope one of the most successful charitable events in local history.

Because the funds raised go toward the construction of Memorial Hospital’s new patient tower, the Memorial House of Hope will also provide thousands of local people with a better chance of health and healing.

The 2008 Bakersfield House of Hope is located in Village Green at Stockdale Highway and Renfro Road. Built by Castle & Cooke, one of the top California Green Builders, this eco-friendly home meets or exceeds all energy efficiency standards of the EPA and the Department of Energy.
